The summer before I moved to London, Tara helped me update my wardrobe.

She came over, looked at my wardrobe and very quickly (but gently!)  told me what I should get rid of, what I should keep and what I needed to complete my closet.

Then we went shopping, and the real magic really happened.  I learned how to shop with a vision.  Tara pulled some basics, some dressier, more original pieces, and shoes and accessories to complete the various looks.  She showed me how to dress up and dress down, using the same pieces.  

I arrived in London, which turns out to be an incredibly well-dressed city, and transitioned right in.  If it weren't for Tara, I'd feel like a slob.  It's amazing how I can open up my closet, and without thinking too much about it, pick an outfit for whatever the occasion.  I have never had an "I don't know what to wear" moment since shopping with Tara, and that's pretty amazing in a city like London.

I'm definitely doing this again!

Georgetown to London, England

My sister and I are obsessed with WHAT NOT TO WEAR:

We knew there had to be a way to create this experience for ourselves and were ecstatic when we found Tara! 

As we prepared for our first appointment we had very high expectations. While people watching prior to our first meeting with Tara we saw a woman walk by and we both said “we hope that is Tara because we love the way she’s dressed”.  Lucky for us, it was Tara and she far exceeded our expectations for the day.  Tara did a fantastic job balancing both of our styles and ensuring all of our questions were answered.

We had so much fun with her that 4 hours.  Although we had learned a lot from Tara in a short amount of time it just wasn’t enough.  We now had lots of great pieces but were too overwhelmed to put the outfits together. 

Tara graciously answered our crazy e-mails, giving her opinions and advice on our purchases based on photos we sent, but we knew we had to book another appointment.  We were in the midst of a closet emergency! A couple of weeks later we had our second appointment with Tara; this time she came over & styled our closets. 

Again, this appointment was more than we could have hoped for. Tara is easy to work with and has an amazing talent.  When we looked in our closets we saw nothing but random pieces and misguided purchases.  Tara takes one look and creates amazing outfits that we cannot wait to wear!

We would recommend Tara to anyone!!!
